Zonet liep ik in het uitgestorven centrum van Barcelona naar de dichtstbijzijnde apotheek, de Farmacia. Het bezoeken van een apotheek is tijdens de ‘confinado’ een van de weinige geldige redenen je huis te mogen verlaten. Sommigen maken daar misbruik van en gaan voor een pak tissues naar de farmacia, enkel om even te kunnen ‘ontsnappen’. [...]

The sole shop that was open in the neighbourhood, was this little bakery shop. Boni did not want to leave this only place alive around, resulting in a realistic Van Gogh-ish picture in a surreal environment.
Tijdens mijn avondwandeling met Boni gisteravond op Dag 1 (de hond uitlaten mag nog net, mits ‘functioneel’), zag ik deze tekst op het raam van de dichtstbijzijnde (en gesloten, uiteraard..) Starbucks. Vrij vertaald: ‘We komen terug, sterker dan voorheen’. Mooi en hoopvol, en dat namens een Amerikaanse koffieketen!
